IL Homeowner’s Native Landscaping Act Architectural Control Standard
Glendale Estates residents may plant or grow Illinois Native Plant Species so long as the area is maintained to be predominantly free of weeds, invasive species, and trash. Vegetation should not extend over or onto neighboring properties, public or common sidewalks, pathways, streets, or other public or common areas, and should not interfere with traffic or utilities. Native landscaping shall be safe, planned, intentional, and maintained. The Association reserves the right to request reasonable changes to landscaping in order to protect the overall appearance and safety of the subdivision.
